SOCIO-MEDICAL SERVICES CENTER works as a functional component in the structure of the Cluj-Napoca Social Assistance Directorate since February 2010.
Children with motor disabilities are helped in their recovery and social integration by the SOCIO-MEDICAL SERVICES CENTER at Aviator Bădescu Street No. 32, organized as a functional component within the structure of the Cluj-Napoca Social Assistance Directorate, without legal personality, having its headquarters in Cluj-Napoca, Av. Badescu Street, No. 32.
The main objectives of the Socio-Medical Services Center are:
- Detection and early intervention in developmental disorders in children aged between 0-2 years;
- Recovery / rehabilitation of children aged between 0-18 years with motor, neuromotor disabilities and related deficiencies;
- Informing, counseling and guiding the family for the social integration of the child with a disability;
- Defending the civil, social rights and dignity of people with special needs;
The field of activity of the Socio-Medical Services Center:
- provides current and specialized medical assistance, motor recovery and maintenance, psychological, speech therapy, social assistance, physiotherapy, therapeutic massage;
- organizes socialization activities both inside the center and outside it;
- provides counseling and information to both families and beneficiaries regarding social issues (family, psychological problems);
- elaborates and uses informative materials regarding the services provided, including in forms accessible to people with disabilities;
Currently, 70 children with disabilities benefit from the center's services. All services offered for children are free.
YOUR CHILD is also OUR CHILD as long as he/she needs the CSSM PROGRAMS. Together – you and us – we must think that the THERAPY-RECOVERY-INTEGRATION-PARTICIPATION of the child should be COMPLEX-COMPLETE-DIVERSIFIED.

Admittance
CSSM center admission conditions
The patient must:
- to present a diagnosis of a neuro-psycho-motor condition (certified by medical documents) and, following the evaluations, to show that the center's activities are tailored to individual needs;
- to be children with severe, pronounced, medium and mild disabilities, holders or not of a valid disability classification certificate, or neuro-motor disorders;
- to present the legal domicile/residence in/within the Cluj-Napoca municipality;
- not exceed the age of 18 years.
For admission to the CSSM center, the following documents are required:
- standard application for inclusion in the center's activities, drawn up by the applicant or by his legal owner;
- photocopies of the person's identity documents (birth certificate, ID card) and civil status documents (marriage certificate, divorce decree, as the case may be);
- documents certifying the patient's state of health and medical history (medical certificates from the family doctor, hospital discharges, medical letters);
- certificate of classification in a category of disabled persons (optional);
The person diagnosed with a neuropsychomotor disorder or their legal representative will submit an application to the CSSM Center, together with the requested documents: disability certificate, birth certificate, family ID card, medical letters, medical discharge letters from the hospital, referral from the family doctor.
The admission of a new beneficiary to CSSM services is done only to the extent that there are available resources and according to the legal provisions.

The beneficiaries of CSSM services are:
- children with neuromotor disabilities and associated 0-18 years
The average number of patients/month who benefit from the center's services is 70. 22-24 beneficiaries are present daily who have an individualized program, adapted to the needs of special therapies as well as group programs.
