The multifunctional center of integrated social services for the elderly no. 1

The multifunctional center of integrated social services for the elderly no. 1, from St. O. Iosif no. 1-3, financed by the POR 2007-2013, Priority Axis 1, is part of a program of projects proposed and approved by the Integrated Development Plan and contributes directly to the achievement of the development priorities of the social infrastructure.

The project implementation period is 34 months, and the works were started on January 30, 2013. The project has a total value of 5,399,454.22 lei, of which 5,328,701.82 lei is non-refundable financial assistance, and 177,326.44 lei represents the municipality's contribution.

By modernizing the "Multifunctional Center of Integrated Social Services for the Elderly no. 1, str. St. O. Joseph, no. 1-3" from the Municipality of Cluj-Napoca was achieved: the increase by 897.60 m2 of the rehabilitated, modernized and expanded useful surface of the center, the increase of the center's capacity from 70 places at present, to 234 places, the creation of 5 facilities intended for people with disabilities, namely an accessible lift for people with reduced mobility and four sanitary groups adapted to the needs of people with disabilities, the provision of equipment adapted to the needs of the center's beneficiaries, specific to the activities for which the Center is accredited: equipment for the qualitative improvement of the activities currently carried out and equipment for new educational activities, social integration/reintegration, recreation (medical gymnastics, physiotherapy, kinetotherapy, information and counseling), creating new spaces and equipping them with specialized furniture and equipment in order to carry out new educational, recreational activities, social reintegration and medical physical recovery, ensuring free access to improved social services, creating two new permanent jobs (1 physiotherapist and 1 physiotherapist) and facilitating communication between the elderly in order to increase their level of socialization.
