"OPPORTUNITIES FOR TEENAGERS"

"Aopportunities for teenagers" is a model project implemented by the ALIAT Association in partnership with the City Hall of Cluj-Napoca, the Directorate of Social and Medical Assistance with the technical and financial support of UNICEF Romania in the period 2014-2017.

In order to support teenagers, girls and boys between the ages of 10 and 18, UNICEF developed this integrated intervention model starting from the analysis of the determinants that influence the lives of teenagers in Romania and the existing services for them at the local level, analyzes carried out in partnership with the Ministry of Youth and Sports.

The project was launched on the basis of a memorandum between the Government of Romania and UNICEF and is implemented in five cities: Bucharest, Cluj, Iasi, Constanța and Bacău.

The purpose of the project is to create development opportunities, both personal and professional for teenagers by creating and implementing a set of integrated services and activities for teenagers, based on their specific needs and expectations. This initiative will facilitate access to equal opportunities and an appropriate context for promoting the active participation of adolescents in the life and long-term development of the community.

SERVICES:

1. activitiesÞand information in the unitÞand to learnÞlover on the following topics: reproductive health, nutriÞie, the risks of internet use, assertive communication, time management, prevention of human trafficking, bullying.

2. Ini evaluationÞiala (psychological assessment ANDand assessment of the adolescent's needs).

3. Workshops in the center with the aim of creANDthree skill levelsÞand non-cognitive (self-esteem, self-control, motiveÞyes, competentÞethey social, creativitythinkingA critical, resource utilization resilient, ableÞcoping skills, etc.) ANDand activitiesÞand recreational (film clubs; creative workshops on various topics; contests - e.g. treasure hunt, sports, etc.; parties, trips, etc).

4. Personal development groups for the teenagerÞand ANDand fatherÞand theirs (ex. RECOGNIZESANDTere ANDand emo managementÞDISCLOSURES; communication; techniques of relaÞionization, etc.).

5. Individual counselingUm for the teenagerÞand ANDand fatherÞi (maximum three ANDPresidentsÞe).

6. Referring to other local public services ANDand private ones in operationÞneeds.

7. Citation to specialized services for complementary support.

8. accompanying to specialized services for the situationÞemergency roomsÞah.
